Some of the flowers were white so I changed their color with Glimmer Mist and I also did the same with the seam binding. I had always used hot glue to fasten my embellishments because it was fast but if I decided to move it after, I ended up tearing my paper. But now I use Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive and I LOVE it...it dries really fast but also allows me to move my embellie around a little if I am not liking it's placement.
I whitewashed the look of my layout by using gesso and the little glass bottle was originally filled with glitter but I emptied it and filled with sand from the beach behind our house. I punched some of the butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch and added Prima E-Line pearls for the bodies.
