A Sweet Workshop

I have a really sweet card workshop to share with you. It features the Zoe paper collection and the Treats of Friendship stamp set.

This workshop includes 8 unique designs that you will make 2 of each (for a total of 16 cards)

This workshop uses 3 fun techniques, Shape cards, stamp masking and paper piecing.

Lets take a closer look at each of these cards:

 There are two options to participate in my workshop,

in person or digital.

To choose the in person workshop, simply visit yourmemorieshere.ctmh.com and place an order for the Zoe paper collection (item #X7197B for $9.95) and the Treats of Friendship stamp set (item #C1616 for $13.95). Once your order is complete you will automatically be registered for the workshop on Saturday, July 16 at 1:00pm or Sunday July 17 at 1:30pm, whichever day works best for you.

You will need to supply your own  5 1/2 x 41/4 card bases & envelopes (or you can order them item #X254 for $14.95)  

Please bring your essential tool kit:

adhesive tape runner, paper trimmer, micro tip scissors, wet adhesive & clear ruler. 

If you do not own these items they can also be ordered from me.

You are encouraged to bring your favorite 'M' size stamps, to use on some of the cards for variety.

We will be using inks in the following colors:

Sorbet (Z2164) Slate (Z2173) Cashmere (Z2175) Chocolate (Z2111)

I will have ink stamp pads and acrylic blocks for everyone to share, but you are welcome to order for your own personal collection.

I also used the CTMH Cricut Artistry cartridge to create the shaped cards, which will be cut for you.

After your order is received, I will email you directions and Cricut cut files (for the shaped cards).

From CTMH - Pushing the Envelope

Looking for ways to switch up your cardmaking game? Well you’re in luck, because today we’ve got a couple tricks up our sleeves (or cards, in this instance!) to help you take things to the next level!

For starters, try decorating your envelopes so they coordinate with your cards.

It’s like creating your own stationery! Getting a beautiful handmade card is already a breath of fresh air, so imagine how much you’ll brighten someone’s day by giving a card with a beautiful, matching envelope.

You can also add stamping to your envelopes. This “Thinking of You” envelope communicates love and empathy before it’s even opened.

Embossing is another great way to make your cards extra special. It’s simple to do, but gives your cards a high-end look.

And while you have your embossing machine out, here’s another fun idea to try—embossing the flaps of your envelopes!
