Autumn card by Nanné

Hello fellow scrappers.
Oh its so hot out side here in Finland, it seems funny that I created an Autumn card and using winter papers at that..LOL  My best friend is moving here at the end of November from Florida and I wanted to send her a card for her up coming trip.
So, here is the card I created:

sorry the photo is a little blurry.. But I used the cutest papers by Prima, it was the North Country collection.. Lots of gorgeous winter themed papers, but I did find a few that worked great for an Autumn card..
I also put my Cricut to the test and cut the leaves that I have assembled below the sentiment.
I also added some drops of white liquid pearl to accent the scalloped circle and some of the papers..
How about a few close ups:

I inked the edges of the papers with some Distress ink by Ranger

and then for the finished sentiment on the inside of the card:

well fellow scrappers.. that's my Monday post for this week..
Thank you for stopping by today and do check out Your Memories Here.. she is taking pre-orders for the new Prima Grab bags.. I gotta gets mine..LOL
Hope everyone has a wonderfully scrappy week

Beauty - Pink Paislee

Dana here today sharing a bright and fun layout created with some Pink Paislee lines.  This fabulous yellow striped patterned paper is one of the B-sides from the Pink Paislee Nantucket collection.  It's not often that I use yellow in my projects, but I love this paper, especially paired with pink, purple and teal.  I took a detour to Butterfly World on a recent vacation and besides the amazing butterflies there, these fragrant flowering passion vines were my favorite.

I colored a piece of Pink Paislee Mistables Paper with Distress Ink in Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord.
Be sure to stop by the Your Memories Here Store and visit the Pink Paislee section. Also available are the London Market, Spring Jubilee, Indigo Bleu and Declarations collections!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Glitz Design, Pink Paislee; Letters: American Crafts; Overlay: Glitz Design; Rub-Ons: Hambly Studios; Flowers: Manor House Creations; Leaves: Webster's Pages; Brads: American Crafts, Pink Paislee; Butterfly: Recollections; Flourish: Flourish With A Bling; Tape: K&Co; Ink: Ranger; Pen: Sharpie; Other: Flowers

Sisters Layout

Hello and happy crafty Thursday! Today I did a layout of my girls. It has been a while since I've actually just worked on a layout. I thought I would struggle but not with this set. Oh my It's gorgeous!

KaiserCraft has outdone themselves with this one. This set is Fine & Sunny and the papers are beautiful! I will be doing more with this set next week for sure.
The Prima flowers look so cute with it too. The orange is perfect. I added some twine and a scalloped card.
I just love this picture. <3
I used distress ink in brushed corduroy around some of the edges to put a contrast. I used a piece of white board as my background. I think it makes the yellow patterned paper pop. I punched the clouds with the orange paper with the kit. I just love it.
Don't forget to get your grab bag from the YMH store. Oh the goodies in there are amazing. Kristina never disappoints. :)
Hope you have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Vacation Spot?

Hi everyone, Nancy here!  Hope you are having a great day.  Me? I am ready for a vacation right now, but fortunately I am lucky enough to live in a place that many people consider a vacation destination.  Sometimes I am still amazed we live in such a scenic place.
I used some of my older Prima papers from Your Memories Here to complete this project.  This time from the Londonerry Collection.
And of course I coupled the gorgeous papers with a bit of Alecon lace and beautiful Prima blooms.
I even threw in a few buttons and baubles from Prima.  I love that the grab bags from Your Memories Here offer such a variety of goodies.

Don't forget, the new grab bags/boxes and the complete Prima Collections are available now at Your Memories Here, so be sure and hop over there and grab some goodies.

Hugs.

Joy Mixed Media Album - Anna Dabrowska/Prima

Hi YMH fans!  Dana here today.  Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking Anna Dabrowska's Mixed Medium Album Class and I'm sharing my album cover and some of the pages today. This class was AMAZING.  Anna is such a sweetheart and I learned so much.  This was my first time working with the Prima Mixed Media Book Covers and Album, and I absolutely love them.
I had a lot of fun layering canvas letters, embellishments and an old guitar amp tube (courtesy of my husband) and topping that with a couple of layers of mist, glaze, gel medium and gesso for my album cover.
Here is the back of my album and a close-up of my embellishment cluster.
I created several album pages during the class.  I learned how to build layers using paper scraps, strips of fabric, gesso, mist and tea.
The patterned papers and embellishments are from the Prima Almanac collection.  The pinks and oranges are perfect for soft, romantic pages.  These two pages were built on cardstock and then glued to watercolor pages, both of which are included in the Prima album kit.
Once my background was built up, I added pieces of patterned paper, stickers, stamping and my photo.  The light brown drips, splashes and rings are from tea.
I built this page on a piece of the resist canvas.  This page was colored with a mix of mists and Distress Stains.
Thanks for visiting today! If you have any questions, either about Anna's class or my pages, please send me an e-mail at serordan (at) hotmail (dot) com, and I'd be happy to answer your questions.
Stop by again next Friday to see more pages from this album.  If you want to try creating your own mixed media album, stop by the Your Memories Here Store and pick up what you need.

It's also time for Prima Pre-Orders!  If you have your eye on 1, or 7, of the new Prima collections, get your order in now for a significant savings.  Grab Bags are available again in 3 sizes.

I love seeing all the Pink Paislee Declaration on the YMH blog! I love it. Here's my take..a mini!

I cut the paper in half and then scored at 6 inches on each side of all the different patters. This really helps when you fold your papers.
Then I glued all my papers back to back to form this book. I still get ALL the patterns which I love all together.
I inked all the edges after I assembled the book. I used Distress Ink in faded blue jeans and it looks sooo good.
These bright red Prima flowers worked great. I added buttons from my stash. The white lace on top of the pom pom trim is Prima too. I love how the Prima Bling adds a sort of fireworks affect.
I also used the Distress Ink over a star stencil on the cover.
Even after making this mini I have tons of paper and embellishments to play with.

Don't forget to check out the YMH store page for the Prima Grab Bags packed full of beautiful goodness straight from the new releases! I assure you that you won't be disappointed!

I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. It's been miserably hot but the kids don't seem to mind. King's Island in a couple weeks! Then school starts real soon. I bet I'm more happy about that than the girls are. ;)

See ya next week!

My Love - Declaration

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a recent project I made using the Declarations line from Pink Paislee.  This mini collection is full of cute patterned papers and stickers that I couldn't resist playing with for more than just July 4.  Here, a photo of my three children created this quick and easy layout.
You know I couldn't resist throwing in a few flowers, many from Prima Marketing.
Speaking of Prima Marketing, have you seen the summer collections that are coming out now at CHA?  Swoon!  And of course, Kristina has all the collections as well as three different sizes of grab bags to chose from available now on pre-order as well as a few more winter CHA bags.
I know I plan on placing my order early and simply can't wait for everything to arrive.  The only question is....which to choose, which to choose.

Guess I am off to decide.

Hugs.

Our Jurney- DT by Nanné

Wow.. Its been a busy Monday today and so, that's why my post for Your Memories Here is a bit late.. Its also been raining cats and dogs the last few days, so trying to get a halfway descent photo of my project was almost impossible.. The close ups are better, I promise..
so, with that said...LOL  I had a lot of fun playing with some of my "boring" flowers yesterday.. I needed some reddish flowers and didn't find any in my stash, so what better way to get my way than grabbing a bottle of glitter mist and getting the color I needed.. these were originally light blue and look how awesome they look now..You'd never know!! LOL

and here is the layout I created:

I started off with some of my Windsor papers and most of these are actually scraps from previous layouts.. I love how you don't have to throw them away and be able to add lots of amazing little bits of detail to any project..
Here are some close ups of the layout:

Check out how yummy those look.. all nice and glittery..

The  leaves (gems) are from my Prima collection I received last winter, they were in the Printery collection.. I ended up cutting them up a bit.. adding the leaves separately and then the golden pearls onto the centers of my flowers..

I also punched out the little clock from the backing of one the Prima flower packs I have.. I seen it and thought, why waste such a perfect piece of embellishment..LOL

ok ladies.. Thank you all so much stopping by today and taking a look at my Monday design team project for Your Memories Here.. I had so much fun playing with some of my flowers from my stash and some glimmer mist..
Do stop by Your Memories here for all of your glimmer mist needs..LOL
Hugs

I added rhinestone embellishments and a charm from the Prima Meadow Lark line and some splatters of Tattered Angels Mist.

Prima Sun Kiss Cards by Nanné

Happy Monday fellow crafter's and since it is Monday, I get to share a few cards that I created as my design team project for Your Memories Here..  Because I am a cheap scrapper (aren't we all), I don't like wasting my papers.. I try to save some of the bigger pieces that are left over and with those I make cards..Here are two cards that I created with some of the scraps I've had left over from previous projects:

card #1:

I started off with a white cardstock base, brown cardstock and then started layering the sun kiss papers.. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch, some Sun Kiss Flowers, leaves, white ribbon, Prima E-Line pearls, and a few stamps I had in my stash.. I also distressed all of the edges with Ranger distress ink.  The scalloped circle I cut using my Cricut Imagine..
I have one close up:

and then for the second card:

Once again, started with a white cardstock base, layered some of the Sun Kiss papers on it, did some edge punching again with my MS edge punch, plus added some butterflies which I punched out of the Sun Kiss papers.. added some liquid pearl drops to them for accent..  Chipboard sentiment sticker which came in the Prima Sun Kiss collection, The green flowers did not come in the collection, the white flower is also a Prima, plus are the leaves..
for a few close ups:
love these flowers!

I also distressed the edges of this card with Ranger distress ink

I want to thank you all for  stopping by today and checking out my design team project for Your Memories Here.. Stop by and get your Prima grab bag today, there are some left :)
hope everyone has a scrap-sational week !
Hugs
