Little Firecracker - Pink Paislee Declaration

Hi Your Memories Here fans! Dana here with a layout using the Pink Paislee Declarations collection and one of my favorite photos from last July.  I had a lot of fun cutting designs from the papers and embellishing the "flowers" with thread, Stickles, paint and brads.  The stickers helped round out my page.  This Declarations kit made putting together this layout a snap!
Be sure to stop by the Your Memories Here Store and visit the Pink Paislee section. Also available are the Nantucket, Spring Jubilee, Indigo Bleu and London Market collections! If you're running low on embellishments from the last Prima release, there are still Winter Grab Bags available in 3 different sizes in the YMH Store.

A is for.....

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today.  Sorry I am a little late, but summer really is getting the best of me.

Today I wanted to share with you a quick project I made using Almanac papers and a few other goodies from my Your Memories Here grab bag.
My daughter and I have been having a great time making art for her room and when I saw the huge letters on sale at Michaels we knew what our next project was.  I used my Prima Comfort Craft Distress Tool to file the edges of the paper and then inked those edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy.  And you know I couldn't resit adding a few flowers, pins and leaves from my grab bag.

Well, just a quick project today.

Hugs.

Laughing with Prima Sun Kiss

Happy Monday fellow scrappers.. I'm so delighted to share with you a layout I created over the weekend using some of my Prima Sun Kiss papers and flowers to match.. I also dipped into my stash of flowers and used some of those as well.. Just goes to show how versatile this collection is..  I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again " I love the blues !" in the collection..LOL  and I promise next Mondays project will not be blue..LOL

and with those famous last words (a-hum), here is my project:

I had a lot of fun creating this layout , using different techniques that I've learned through out my creative years..LOL  I recently figured out how you can use your corner punch to create a beautiful border around your circle.. super simple!  I distressed all of the edges of my papers by using Ranger distress ink: Brushed Corduroy.

How about some close ups:

Love the whites and browns.. Has to be one of my all time favorite color combinations
You can also see the two chipboard hearts I created and distressed with an emory board.

Decided to go with one of the chipboard elements that came in
this collection.. I thought the blue and browns went well with the color theme..
I also wanted to add the year these photos were taken, so grabbed some of the alpha stickers
that came the collection and stuck those down a little tab I created.

I love to cluster flowers.. I really love the colors I chose to work with
for this layout.. adding just a few pops of blue..

I made some chipboard hearts which I tucked in behind some of
the flowers. I did some sanding on the edges of the hearts to distress them a bit
differently than using ink.

side view of how the flowers just pop off of the page..

The blues roses and the brown daisy came in this Prima Sun Kiss collection,
as well as the bigger leaves..

All righty then fellow scrappers..That's my Monday post for the last week of June..
Do stop by Your Memories Here and check what a wonderful line of products they carry.
I've certainly had a blast with my Prima Bag and I'm sure you would too :)
Hope everyone has a scrap-tastic week..

I used a stencil and some modeling paste to add a layer of texture to the base of my page. I then colored it with some Distress Inks.

Several pieces from the London Market Ephemera Pack were the perfect size to tuck into my flower clusters.

Be sure to stop by the Your Memories Here Store and visit the Pink Paislee section. Also available are the Nantucket, Spring Jubilee, Indigo Bleu and Declarations collections! Make A Wish-Prima Sun Kiss

Happy Monday fellow scrappers.. Its NannĂ© again and I wanted to share a layout I created using some of the Prima Sun Kiss papers I got from my grab bag..  I am a very cheap scrapper and I try to get the most out of my papers and embellishments.. So, I decided to use the 12x12 printed background, adding small pieces of paper to accent and then went with adding white cardstock as the main color.. I was trying to keep this layout white and blue, by adding white and blue flowers..LOL

so, here is my layout:

I also did some edge punching with one of my favorite edge punches by MS..
How about a few close ups:

I also cut up one of the notecards that came in the collection and used only the scalloped edges, tucking them behind the paper..

I love these big white Alabaster roses.. I added some white liquid pearl to the edges of it..

I used light blue Hydrangeas by Prima..
adding baby blue liquid pearl to the edges and Prima E-Line crystals to the centers..
the alpha stickers came in the paper collection.

and finally my title.. I cut it using my Cricut and Hello Kitty cartridge.. adding some white liquid pearl drops to accent and some punched butterflies out of the coordinating papers..
plus, I added a chipboard journaling sticker and then added some of the other alphabet stickers that also came in this collection.. I'm not good when it comes to journaling, so I was pleased with myself that I got the "you are 4" on there..LOL

Alrighty then fellow scrappers.. that's my Monday post this week.. Do stop by Your Memories Here and check out the amazing deals Kristina has on the Prima grab bags.. They are filled to the rim with all kinds of goodies for LOTS of different projects..
Okey dokey.. I hope everyone has a scrap-tastic week..

With Love ATC - Faber-Castell Gelatos

Thanks for stopping by today!  Dana here sharing an altered trading card I created with some odds and ends from my stash and my new set of Faber-Castell Gelatos.  I've been experimenting with different mediums and I had a lot of fun making this colored background.

I started by mixing glass bead gel with some cream-colored paint and then spread a thin layer over the base of my card.  Once that was dry, I brushed several Gelatos over the surface in Lavender, Guava  and Butter Cream.  I then used a water brush to spread the color around.  I love how well the Gelatos blend with each other with just a little bit of water.

There are several different sets of Gelatos in the Your Memories Here Store.  Buy a couple or get the entire set!  I'll see you back here next week.  Happy Scrapping!

Supplies: ATC Base: Ranger; Flower: Prima; Tag: Webster's Pages; Lace: Prima; Ribbon: Offray; Ink: Ranger; Gelatos: Faber-Castell; Paint: Plaid; Glass Bead Gel: Golden; Other: Punchinella

A Quick Update from Kristina

Hello Friends! Just another Tuesday around here :) Boy have I been falling behind on updates. So many things so little time. But I'm sure many of you know how that is.
We have some new products in the store, one is my favorite (at the moment to play with) Gelato pigment sticks from Faber-Castell.
I first saw them at CHA in the Summer of 2011 but didn't know a thing about them. Then when I saw them being used on Live with Prima I fell for them HARD! So I had to get some for the store so you all could have fun too!
Also we just got the assortment of Prima Chalk Inks in stock. All 39 colors perfect to match ANY project!
With some great summer holidays coming up I thought I'd remind you that we have two awesome collections from Pink Paislee that are perfect for your Summer themed projects.

And lastly some vacation news - The store will be on vacation from June16th through the 25th so any orders placed between those dates will not ship until the 26th of June. However, the blog and other inspiration will keep on coming day after day :) Which reminds me, have you visited our Pinterest board yet? I just love Pinterest and all the creativity that can be found there.

She's All That- DT project by Nanné

First day of summer vacation and how sweet it was to start it off by creating a cute little layout as my DT project for Your Memories Here.. Have I said how much I love the new Prima Sun Kiss collection? These are so my colors, so soft.. The blue papers are my very favorite, reminds me of a my daughter as a little girl wearing that cute little summer dress..

Here is my layout:

All of the flowers came in my grab bag and I have lots more to choose from..
Plus, the cute little wooden trinket also came with the collection..

How about some close ups:

Love the distressed edges on these flowers that came in the sun kiss grab bag, the tiny yellow Fairytale roses are also from Prima but did not come in this collection..

I used my MS edge punch and Ranger distress ink (Brushed Corduroy)on the edges to give the layout an aged look..
plus, lots of white liquid pearl drops..

This is such a cute little wooden tag.. I glued it down using Helmar's quick drying glue..

I was unable to print photos to this layout cause my printer is out of pink ink..LOL  I have plans on raiding my daughters facebook photos this evening.. What are moms for right?..LOL

Almanac Canvas

Evening Bloggers,

I do apologize for being late in my post this week...but life is extremely hectic here at present.  I did manage to find some crafty time to play with a 6x6 canvas using the gorgeous Almanac collection.  I have to say this collection would have to be my all time favourite Prima paper collection!  Broad statement but a very true one!

Anyway...onto the project.  I used a 6x6 canvas that was in my stash...I darkened the edges of the canvas using one of my Pan Pastels from my stash...I am loving the effect and versatility of these!  I then cut out a mannequin shape using Grungeboard and covered it with one of the papers from the Almanac Collection. I inked the edges with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and set about covering her in strips of the Black Lace from the Almanac Collection.  The gems for the detail work are from my stash.

I then had the tough choice of which papers to use as the background and after much debate in my mind I made my final choices and then inked those as well in Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  I set about clustering flowers and leaves from both the Almanac Collection and other various fabulous Prima flowers and leaves (loving the greys and blacks in the felt!!)

The overall effect is very girly with a touch of the dramatic with the mannequin and the greys and blacks.  This will go next to the one I did using the Natures Garden collection last time.

I hope you like my mini canvas...and the gorgeous Prima product that is used on it.  Til next week....

Musical Evenings - London Market Collection

TGIF YMH fans!  Dana here today sharing a layout I created with the Pink Paislee London Market collection. I love the romantic vintage designs.  At first glance, I thought I would use this line for weddings, mother’s day and love themed projects due to the abundance of flowers, script and pastel colors present on the papers.  I'm pleasantly surprised that I also like this collection for masculine layouts.  There is plenty of blue, black and grey to work with.

The ephemera package includes pennants with pre-punched holes.  I was able to put this banner together quickly.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to visit the Your Memories Here Store and check out the Pink Paislee section.  Also available are the Nantucket, Spring Jubilee, Indigo Bleu and Declarations collections!
