A Priority delivery! -Using Prima

Hello there YMH fans! So glad to be back with another project. :) I decided I would use a masculine theme to create a card with a nostalgic feel. So of course I reached for some fabulous products that I purchased from Your Memories Here . To start, I grabbed some really awesome Prima DP from the Romantic Novel Collection. from the Winter CHA grab bag 2012. I adhered a piece of the DP to a plain white card and then cut a strip of another piece to make the band across the bottom. I dressed it up with some vintage looking accessories. The stamps in the right hand corner are cut out from the back of the printed DP as well as the Priority sentiment and the envelope. I applied some Prima buttons and a Prima stick pin adhering everything down with Helmar's 450 glue.  I added a piece of twine to make it more authentic. The clock stamp is from Prima as well. I cut out the removable journal card from the Romantic Novel DP and applied some Prima letters. I distressed the sides of the envelope first with my Prima comfort distress tool then applied some Prima chalk ink.  I LOVE the chalk inks and the distress tools for creating. They make the job that much more enjoyable. Well, thank you for joining us today and make sure you pop on over to the store to pick you up some creative supplies!

Mini Album - Pink Paislee London Market

Hi YMH fans!  Dana here today sharing a mini book today that I created with supplies from the Your Memories Here Store and some fabulous pieces of chipboard. I wanted to create a mini book that was a little more unique than something store-bought.  I have a love for Gothic arches and thought that these Gothic Arch Layered Frames made a great base for my book.

I used Martha Stewart Crafts Weather Crackle Effect on the chipboard frames.  Once the chipboard frames were dry, I glued pieces of patterned paper from the Pink Paislee London Market Collection to the back of each frame to create my book pages.

The paper flowers are the Perle Bebe from the Prima Almanac collection.  I love the variety of flower centers and colored petals that come in one package! I was able to create a pretty flower cluster in no time at all.

The Shabby Chic Resin Treasures by Ingvild Bolme are gorgeous!  This pretty lady is from the Allure set, which came in my Prima Grab Bag from the YMH Store. Thanks for stopping by today! Stop by the Your Memories Here Store and check out the fabulous selection of Prima and Pink Paislee products.

Supplies: Paper: Pink Paislee; Chipboard: Tando Creative; Flowers, Leaves: Prima; Shabby Chic Treasure: Prima; Branches: Petaloo; Paint: Making Memories, Martha Stewart; Weather Crackle Effect: Martha Stewart; Eyelets: Colorbok; Other: Twine

love you to the core (kraft core!)

Hi! Ashley here to share my Thursday project.

Today I'm sharing a card & the sentiment is "love you to the core" & I also used the kraft core cardstock. Fun, huh? ;)

I used the Tim Holtz kraft core paper stack, which is available for only $14.99 in the store & who doesn't love a kraft core?! I cut the apple from the Give a Hoot Cricut cartridge. Everything was attached with my Helmar tape runner

Here's a close up shot of the kraft core cardstock:
This stuff is thick & this nostalgic collection has great colors to choose from. You can sand this, distress it, emboss it, or tear it (like I did). So many fun options.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. See you next Thursday!

Oh the Places

Hi everyone!  Nancy here to share with you a project I made using the Spring Jubilee Collection from Pink Paislee.  The colors in this kit are just gorgeous and I paired them with some fun Prima flowers that I picked up in a grab bag from Your Memories Here.
Lots of fussy cutting and a bit of gesso on my backround paper really brought my page to life.
I used a Prima mask to add additional texture with the gesso as well as lots of different Prima lace.  Once the gesso dried this project came together very quickly.  Don't forget to check out all the new items available in the Your Memories Here store.  There are still grab bags and collections to be snatched up.

Hugs.

Nancy

Faith Hope Love

Good morning, Emily here with a card I created using the beautiful Firefly Collection by Prima which you can get for a FABULOUS deal in the store! Looking at this collection online does not do it justice... it is simply gorgeous!

My first project working with these papers was this card...

I took white cardstock and misted it with Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist  and Polka Dot Pink Chalkboard Glimmer Mist.  I adhered my patterned paper to it once it had dried and misted a bit more over that so the papers would flow well together.  I stamped my sentiment on coordinating Firefly paper and colored in the letters with some shimmery paint. The flower is an old Prima flower and the trim from Websters Pages.

I can't wait to work more with this collection and share with you next week!
Have a great day!!

Candid Kitty

Hey everyone Heather here with another page to share using products from my Prima Summer CHA 2012 Grab Bag. This week I thought I'd show how versatile Prima products can be by using them to scrapbook my favorite cat, King.

I cut a few strips of paper from the grab bag into different lengths, distressed the edges, inked them, and added stickles in pink & green.

Here are a couple close ups of the Prima embellishments I used:

Thanks for looking!

Peace & love.

Hand Made Vintage Spool with DeNetra

Hey everyone. I hope you all are having a great weekend.
Today I have a sort of "simple" project.

I used London Market by Pink Paislee. I love this paper line.
It's got a real shabby chic feel to it...yet it has blacks and browns too.

The bird the banner and the tea cup are from the die cuts pack.
I hope you like my project.

A simple card using Prima

Hi there! Sue here with another creation using Prima products from Your Memories Here.  Kristina offers some fabulous Prima goodies that help to complete the perfect project. I decided to do something simple this time. So! I pulled out a new Prima Circle stencil and using Prima's Chalk Inks in Olive Vine, Coltsfoot Stemens and Cold Ice,  I applied them to some white watercolor paper. I like the texture that the watercolor paper provides so that's why I chose it. .I then adhered some beautiful Prima flowers I used from the Summer and Winter grab bags with some Helmar Glue.  I chose colors that could be used for both a feminine or a masculine card. I encourage you to try one for yourself! The card is so easy to make and is fun creating in the process. Thanks for joining us here at the YMH blog!

Feathered Friends - Prima Rondelle Collection

I hope you have all had a great week!  Dana here today sharing a layout full of Prima goodness.  I'm having a blast working with my Prima Grab Bag!  I received the beautiful Prima Rondelle collection as well as the coordinating Rondelle Stamp set.  The black and white flowers were also part of my Grab Bag goodies!  If you're looking for a way to receive a box of quality products at a great price, a Grab Bag from the YMH Store is an excellent choice.

I loved the weathered text on this piece of patterned paper. I recreated the look with a small amount of Gesso and some vintage book pages. Gesso is a great adhesive. If you brush on a light coat of gesso, press the book pages into it, and tear off once dry, you get a great transfer of the book text onto your project.

I rounded out my flower clusters with some stamped leaves.  I wanted to bring out the green leaves on this patterned paper, so I colored some chipboard leaves with Gesso, Distress Markers and ink.

The small four-petal flowers and the letter stickers are from the Prima Almanac collection.  I'm thrilled that the Rondelle line has a similar color palette and I'm able to use my leftover Almanac embellishments in a fresh way.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you haven't stopped by the Your Memories Here Store be sure to check them out. The Prima Grab Bags are a wonderful value so pick one up before they're gone for good!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Prima; Stickers: Prima; Flowers: Prima; Rhinestones: Prima; Stamps: Prima; Chipboard: Words or Whatever; Ink: Ranger, Tsukineko; Distress Markers: Ranger; Gesso: Golden; Other: Book Pages

Cosmo Cricket, Glimmer Glaze, Mistables, oh my!

Happy Thursday YMH fans! Ashley here & I'm exited about this layout because there's so much goodness on it. The Hey Sugar collection by Cosmo Cricket is probably my favorite by them. & the pink lady Glimmer Glaze... to die for. Please go check these things out in the store.

I used lots of goodies on this layout. The papers are all Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar & I lovelovelove them. Love all the pinks - it's my favorite color! SO pretty. I also used Prima writer's tape which is kind of cool & something I have never even heard of. Do I live under a rock? There are so many possibilities with this stuff. I curled a piece up and then painted the edges with pink lady Glimmer Glaze (which is so pretty - pink & silver) & then stamped on it.

The big circle I cut from a Pink Paislee Mistable sheet. Sorry, they're out of stock right now. I painted it with the same pink lady Glimmer Glaze. Sooo pretty. I just love that Glimmer Glaze.

Love - Declarations

Hi everyone, Nancy here today!  I wanted to share with you a new project I made using the gorgeous Declarations Collection from Pink Paislee.  When I first purchased this kit I thought I would use it for our Fourth of July photos.  Unfortunately, my boys were out of town and the girls and I went to a BBQ in the afternoon and then just hung low that night.  Not much in the way of patriotic photos. sigh

Luckily, this collection is good for so much more!  This time, a photo of my love, Phil.  hee hee  Hard to believe we have been together for 22 years now.  We will actually celebrate our 20 wedding anniversary next year!
Of course there was lots of distressing with my Prima Distress Tool.  I changed the center of my flower using some Fired Brick Distress Stain.  A few Prima letters on my banner and a couple of other elements and my project was complete.

I am really happy with the way it turned out.  And so happy that my beloved paper is not going to waste because I didn't have any Patriotic photos.

OK, well.....gotta run.

Hugs.

Nancy

Live What You Love

Good Morning! It's Emily, with another framed canvas I created for my daughter's room using some wonderful products from Your Memories Here

After the first framed canvas was created, I decided I wanted to do a butterfly theme to all of the frames. Basically, there will be a butterfly, part of a butterfly, or several butterflies in every canvas that I create for Serenity's room. I plan on hanging them all together on the same wall.

Similar to this, except not as a headboard:
Photo from Shrimp Salad Circus

And so, I present my next framed canvas in the series....

I fussy cut the flower punch out from the Pastiche Prima paper and the green background is the backside to the Prima Just Us Togetherness paper.  The flowers were decoupaged on using Helmar's Decoupage paste, which is AWESOME. I replaced some of my paper leaves with Prima fabric ones to add texture.  I used some Faber Castell Gelato's in red and a Golden color on the two different colored flowers. This, mixed with some shimmery paint created a lovely effect and texture on the flowers. It gives them a painted look. I think I will use some more Gelato's on the leaves as well to keep the painted texture look. :)

Supplies Used:
Prima: Pastiche - Butterfly Wings
Prima: Lovely Fabric Leaves - green
Unity Stamps
StazOn Ink
Canvas
Frame

I took some close up shots of various parts of the canvas which you can see below.

Thank you for stopping in, and remember, if you haven't already gotten your Prima Grab Bag from Summer CHA, order it now! Kristina has some fabulous deals going on the Grab Bags!

A Sweet Life

Hey everyone, Heather here with another page to share. I got my Prima Summer CHA Grab Bag in the mail last week and could not WAIT to rip open the box and get scrapbooking. My page this week is titled "A Sweet Life".

I started by choosing a background paper and two accent papers which was extremely simple since everything in the Prima Grab Bag goes together beautifully...makes putting a page together very quick. I distressed the edges and inked them using Ranger Distress Ink.

Here's a couple close ups of the gorgeous Prima flowers & crystals:

I hope everyone will head over to the Your Memories Here Store & have a look around. I highly recommend snagging a Prima Grab Bag! Create something beautiful today ladies.

Peace & love.

"You Brighten My Day" with DeNetra

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you all have been relaxing
and enjoying time with family. I was able to sneak to my craft room
and dabble in a lay out.

I am still trying to finding my "niche" when it comes to layouts, so I hope you
like this one....

I used the Rondelle 12 x 12 papers from Prima.

I cut images from the papers and
added one of the chip board buttons
from the collection as well.

I used the Zephyr Canvas Alphas
for the title.

This is the effect of Black Soot
Distress Crackle paint. Super cool.

These paint drips are also crackle paint
I dripped the paint form the brush
and then heavily spray the dots with water. The paint dripped and it still
crackled...

This is a Prima Background Mask I used
Vintage Photo distress stain behind the
masking. I sprayed it with water so it
could drip...love this look...
Here is a close up of the pictures.
I desaturated the color so it would match the papers better...
here I used the same Prima Mask
only I used the White Faber Castle Gelatos...its very faint but I love it...
I also used the Rondelle stamps...
I colored the stamp with the Black Gelato...I sprayed the paper with water then stamp the humming bird...I love the way it turned out....

I tried so many painting and inking techniques and it came together very nice.
You can find products to create your own painted dream at The Store.

Feel free to request any products from manufactures in the store if they are sold out....

Thanks for spending time with me today !

The best Moments

Good Saturday to everyone! I'm so happy to share another project here for YMH! I created this postcard for the Sunday Postcard Challenge in another group using the theme that was chosen...Memories. I created a remembrance of all the friends that I've lost over the years to cancer or otherwise  and what a wonderful impression they have left on my life. I used the new Prima Poppies and Peonies mask   to create a sentimental feel. In addition, I used a beautiful butterfly from the Romance Novel Collection that was part of a grab bag I had previously purchased. I applied a Helmar zapdot to the back of the butterfly to give a raised appearance. The first sentiment stamp at the top is from Prima. The second is a very old stamp I've had for a while. The verse reads "Think where glory most begins and ends,  and say my glory was I had such friends."~W.B. Yeats. I used some distress ink around the sides and the peonies are colored with Aged Mahogany along with Forest Moss. Just FYI~if you see a product that you like that is not in stock, it can be specially ordered for you. Just contact Kristina to take care of that. :) Thank you for joining me today and make sure to check out the other beautiful projects created here on the YMH blog!

Through The Doors - New Prima

Hi YMH fans!  Dana here today with a collage piece. I used a lot of Prima goodies that I picked up at the Your Memories Here Store. Some of the papers and embellishments I used are from the new Prima releases from Summer CHA that came in my Prima Grab Bag. The other half of the supplies are leftovers from my Prima Almanac collection.  Winter Grab Bags are still available in the YMH Store if you'd like to refresh the collections you may have purchased from the last release.

I think these beautiful Bravo flowers are my favorite of the new releases!

This canvas bloom is also new and holds color really well.  I colored this flower with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Sun Sister, Marmalade and Black Rain.

These alpha stamps are part of the new Prima Romance Novel collection.  I love the vintage typewriter key look!

Prima has fabulous packaging, many of which include this colorful banner ready to cut!

After I cut the triangles from the packaging, I added a bit of Distress Ink and gesso to the edges before I glued them to a piece of Prima Lace.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you haven't stopped by the Your Memories Here Store be sure to check them out.  The Prima Grab Bags are a wonderful value so pick one up before they're gone for good!

card using Mistables by Pink Paislee

It's Ashley here sharing a card I made. I used the Mistables die cut tags by Pink Paislee. They're on sale right now for $1.99! I used Glimmer Mist (olive vine) but you can use any Tattered Angels paint medium on them. Check out all the options in the store.

I also have a close up photo so you can see the design of the Mistables tags a little better. It also shows off the pretty glimmer.
