A Spooktacular Layout

Samantha made this fun and humerous layout of her fiance in his Halloween costume.
Did you know Captain Jack Sparrow had a cousin Jimmy ? :) Well here's proof!
Samantha used her Cricut for the title and the Life is a Beach Cartridge for the skull and cross bones. You can read the whole story on Samantha's blog. You can get your Cricut supplies at Your Memories Here.

DT Layouts

The design Team has provided me with some great layout to share with you all. You;re going to have to be patient though, I'm only going to reveal them one per day :)

This layout here is by Leah. She calls her scrapbook style simple but I think of it more like "just enough" to accent her photographs.

On this page Leah used her Cricut to cut some lovely accents like the butterfly and flourishes. She also used the Cricut to cut the title with the Lyrical Letters cartridge. Leah embossed the title with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. You can read more about Leah's layout on her blog and you can pick up Cricut and Cuttlebug supplies (along with many others) at Your Memories Here.

Flowers Are Still Blooming

At least on projects they are :) Here in my neck of the woods it's definitely fall. The leaves have turned colors the air is crisp and sadly the flowers have stopped blooming. Here on Leah's card the flowers are pretty as ever.
Leah used her Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder to emboss the blue background and cut out the circle frame and butterfly with her Cricut. The 'always in bloom' flowers are from the Prima Bitty bag and she accented the centers with Goldenberry dew drops. The polka dot grosgrain ribbon is by Pebbles and you can catch it on sale right now at Your Memories Here. Speaking of sales, you can make your own sale, just enter coupon code AUTUMN at check out to receive 20% off all products (even sale items!)

Candy Wrappers

These little candy wrappers are a from a free cut file on the All Things Crafty and Delicious blog. I cut them on my Cricut at 6" using the SCAL program. The patterned papers are from the Studio 8 'tis the season collection and are available at Your Memories Here. I also used some solid card stock and DCWV metallic card stock for the bands around the middle. I enhanced them with some embossing using the Cuttlebug embossing folders and borders (also available in the store). They were so easy to put together, a little adhesive and then tie it off with some ribbon (after you've filled it of course) Wouldn't they would make great Christmas decorations ?(or any holiday, just change up the paper).

Mini Page...BIG Style

Lisa has made a couple of pages for a mini album she is gifting.
I just love the vintage look of the papers and the way Lisa distressed the pages. She used her Cricut to make the tag cuts (tucked behind her photo mats).
Those sweet Prima flowers add that special touch. If you'd like to see more pictures and details about Lisa's pages check out her blog. You can get those darling Prima flowers in the Bitty Bag at Your Memories Here.

Cafe Box

I was lucky enough to get to test out a couple of cut files for a blogging friend. Melinda creates all sorts of great cut files for boxes. They are mostly for sweet treats but you can put whatever you want in them. Best of all you can get the cut files for FREE! Just visit Melinda's blog All Things Crafty and Delicious.
This first cafe box is already posted on my blog with all the details. But I couldn't stop at just one so I cut out another and embellished it just a little different. Candy is sweet but getting some new stamps is even sweeter! This box is filled with those cute $1.00 (or less) snag'em stamps by Imaginisce. I put 3 sets inside, but you could probably fit at least one more.
For this box I left the sentiment off the little "awning" (which is embossed with the Swiss Dots folder) and I embellished it with a Prima flower and button from the Chelsey Accents tin.
So, who would like to win this box full of 3 snag'em stamps of your choice?
All you have to to is be a follower and leave a comment on this post. Want an extra chance? Post a link about this giveaway on your blog, then leave another comment here with the link to your blog post. I'll draw a winner on October 16th.

Great Day for a Challenge

It's a great day for a challenge, don't you think? I just love challenge blogs and daily challenges on my favorite chat forums. Karli made this card for the Sweet Dreamer's Challenge.
I just love this card! Karli used some of my favorite elements: embossing with the Cuttlebug, a Prima flower and "Bling" with some crystals. If you'd like to hear more about Karli's card and the challenge she's participating in visit her blog. As for the "Deets" of this card, as Karli would say, here they are:
She used the following Cuttlebug embossing folders: Herringbone, Morrocan Screen and Fleur De Lis and there is a Prima flower on it too. You can grab those folders and flowers at Your Memories Here along with other card making goodies.

Natural Beauty

This very Earthy page was made by Brenda.

She used wonderful natural accents, such as the burlap for her photo mats. Brenda made several cuts for this page on her Cricut and she added rub-ons to a Chatterbox wood frame to capture a small photo.

Those wood frames look so nice on a scrapbook page, whether it be highlighting a special photo or framing out your favorite quote and they are oh so easy to embellish. You can find all the details about Brenda's page on her blog. You'll find the Chatterbox wood frames in a variety of assorted colors in the clearance section at Your Memories Here.
