Adore Treasure Box

Sorry I'm a little late posting today. It's my birthday and I've been busy. My good friend took me and my girls for ice cream. How sweet is that?

I made this little treasure box for a good friend who just had the most adorable little baby girl. I used a cigar box and painted it white inside and out and then I glazed a little baby pink over the whole outside. I used Prima paper Madeline collection. I used Brushed Corduroy distress ink around all the edge to give it a shabby look that I know my friend loves.

This is the inside of the lid with more Prima. Love these flowers and that gold glitter was already on there! Love that.

These letters are from Prima as well and I love the texture already on there.
I sprayed Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist over the whole thing when I was done. I used Chandelier Gimmer Glam on the flowers and used the Baby Pink Distress stain on the tips of the white flower. Love that green Prima lace.
I glued Prima lace all around the edge. This lace fit perfectly and doesn't get in the way when I close the lid.

I used watered down white paint over the canvas word "adore" because it was a very bright teal and I wanted to tone it down a bit and I brushed the Chandelier Glimmer Glam over them too. SO sparkly.

I hope all the wonderful scrappy ladies going to the Sweet Retreat have a great time. I am so jealous but I know you guys will have a great time with Kristina. She's just the sweetest. :)

Happy Crafting!
