A Dog-Gone GREAT Birthday!
I LOVE corrugated cardboard and use it as often as I can in mixed media projects. I am so lucky to be involved in a birthday swap with some amazing artists from around the world. Instead of sending out a birthday card to the recipient, we create & mail a 4X4 piece of art. I loved receiving mine and immediately turned them into a banner that hangs in my art studio. For these little creations, I grabbed some fun goodies from my stash like that cute dog stamp, paints, trims, vintage sheet music, Prima Chalk Inks and Prima Flowers that I picked up from Your Memories Here.

♪....Dreammmmmmmm......dream..dream..dreammmmmmm......♪
..................that's the song that comes to mind when I think of the sentiment for this particular Mixed Media Doll. Isn't she just dreamy? and oh SO fun to color up wtih Copics! I had fun creating this. To start, I took a tag from the Prima Tag Pad and added some vintage touches with some Prima Chalk Edgers. I used some paper piecing here for her dress using some DP from the Wishes & Dreams Prima line available of course, at Your Memories Here.In addition, I pulled out some Prima stash for the stick pin, canvas butterfly wings (colored up with Faber-Castell Gelatos then inked with Prima Chalk Edger). Some fabby Prima lace, canvas twill tape, a pretty yellow rose and some leaves. The "rope" is a found item from my stash salvaged off of something else. Furthermore, I created the butterfly using a wood icon and again, some DP from the Wishes & Dreams collection.
The Mixed Media doll in her little Peasant Dress is now available too! Along with the Prima Tag Pad and don't forget the Prima Flower Grab Bag to embellish with beautiful details! Last but, not least, are the wood icons to add the perfect finishing touches. Isn't she FUN?!! So come on over and pick up some Prima goodness from Your Memories Here and begin to create your own special-ness. :) Thanks for joining me today!

The Caterpillar became a Butterfly
Hi everyone! Emily here today with a canvas to share with you that I made using these awesome Prima Wood Icons in a Box that you can find in the Your Memories Here Store.
I should apologize for the delay in this post. I was having some problems uploading photos from my camera for some reason... I finally got the glitch worked out... so here we go...
This was a super simple canvas to make. I used some shimmery paint along with bubble wrap on the top and bottom of the canvas in the blues and greens for the sky and grass. After I dried it, I used some Distress Stains in Broken China, Brushed Sage and Crushed Olive over them. It created a slight marbled effect.
I colored all of the various wood icons with paints, mists and inks. Helmar 450 Quick Dry was used to adhere them to the canvas.
Here are some close ups...
And before I say goodbye, the products from the store that I used on today's canvas. Click on any of the images to take you to the product in the store. :)

Live in the Moment - Altered Shipping Tag
Rain, rain, go away... that is what I am singing today where I live. What about you? Have you been getting a lot of rain there? I know we need it, but I absolutely love going outside to take photos of my projects, and well, the rain just doesn't allow me to do that! So today's project was photographed indoors, and contains some lovely goodies from the Your Memories Here store.
I took this plain manila shipping tag and created a marbled effect background using some shimmery paint and Vintage Photo Distress Ink Stain. I love the way this looks. So pretty! You can do this with any color of Distress Ink Stain, so the possibilities are endless! I used a flower from my Prima Grab Bag which I inked and painted up (for texture) before adding with some Helmar 450 Quick Dry. I created another background with the marbled effect and stamped my sentiment on it before adhering it to my tag with some Zapdots by Helmar. To finish off the tag, I added twine to the top in a bow.
Be sure to stop in the YMH store... there are now some Prima Flower Grab Bags that you can get for only $25!! That includes free shipping!!!! In the Grab Bag you will receive 5 brand new packages of Prima Flowers from the 2013 release!! Be sure to get yours before they are gone!

A BIG Hello from New York City!
Hello! Heidi Bound here & a HUGE hello from New York City!
I am so thrilled to be a part of the Design Team for Your Memories Here! What an honor to have the opportunity to share my art with such a wonderful community of artists. I received my first box of goodies from Kristina and could hardly pick up the box. It was packed full of oodles of Prima goodness. I used some of that good stuff to create a canvas (8X10) where I mixed the Zephyr and Engraver Collections with some flowers from the Prima Grab Bag.
Here is the canvas--aren't the colors so happy and bright? Can you tell I needed a little taste of Spring colors? This project is also a great way to use those beautiful scraps of paper that you couldn't bear to throw away.
These little birds came in the Grab Bag-they are that amazing resist canvas! I cut that crown off of a stickpin and glued it with a bit of hot glue. It's fun to look at your products and think outside the box when you use them.

Banners are all the rave! I love how the stickers in the Engraver Collection had banner pieces that I could mix & match. I used a bit of baker's twine that was on our pizza delivery box from dinner the other night! You never know where you will find great stuff to use on your art. I hope you enjoyed my first (of many) posts for Your Memories Here! I would love to hear from you in the comments section. Now...GO MAKE SOME ART!

Make A Wish!
Good Morning! Sue here and I'm sharing with you today a card I made for a co-worker for their birthday. I got to thinking that Leeza Gibbons Prima line of papers and embellishments would be PERFECT for a birthday card what with the bright, cheerful colors and terrific designs! So, I used the Wishes & Dreams brads and metallic gems that I won through a Prima contest. They go along perfectly with the Wishful Thinking papers I purchased from Your Memories Here. With these wonderful designer papers, they afford the opportunity to use the adorable cut outs available on the back of some of them. Which is what I did for the banners and pennants. Furthermore, I used some of the flowered design paper to create a flower using a Silhouette cutting file and a Wishes and Dreams brad. I added the Prima bling to finish it off. Whatcha think?
Thank you for joining me today and I wish you a great week ahead!

Spring Time Configurations Box
Hello friends! I hope you are all doing well this fine Tuesday morning. I am in a great mood because the weather has been beautiful! Spring has definitely sprung around here and it is inspiring! To celebrate Spring I used some products from the Your Memories Here store to create this lovely Configurations Shadow Box.
I adore the Tim Holtz Configurations boxes so much. They can be used as shadow boxes with various compartments, a canvas, or like I did, where they are a partial shadow box and partial canvas.
I treated each individual box as it's own canvas or shadow box. I wanted the colors to flow, so all of the patterned papers used were from the same collection. I used various acrylic paints, shimmer paints, mists and modeling paste to color on the boxes. Afterwards I used stamps for texture. The flowers used are some of the Prima Wood Icons in a Box. They are super fun to play with. I used mists and paint to color them, then stamped on them as well. If you don't want them colored, you can leave them natural, which is super cute as well. :)
The papers I used on the box are by Glitz... this particular pack is not in the store, but any of the packs available in the store would look super cute used on one of these boxes!
Here are some close ups of the box...
If you are interested in any of the products I used for this Springy Box, please click on any of their images below to take you to them in the store. :)

Take care! See you soon!

This was made using canvas fabric and the Divine Collection by Prima.
I did an image transfer of some of the paper from the collection.
You can see it..if you look very close lol..some of it got covered up.
I used so many things on this pillow. But it all came together to make a very
magical piece and something that would make a friend smile.
