TP Album Video with Cut Files

Here's a video I made using the cardboard tubes from toilet paper rolls.

Since the making of this video over a year ago, the files for the Cricut Design Studio are no longer available, sorry, but I do have an SVG and a PDF file available (just click on the one you want to download)
The patterned paper is Scrapbook Wall paper "rosey nook" collection. The crown, castle and carriage are Imaginisce Snag 'em stamps. The flowers are Prima Sweet and Sassy, Chelsey accents collection, Hydrangea bunch, Obsessions and the Bitty Bag. I used Cuttlebug embossing folders Swiss dots and Birds and Swirls. The crocheted flowers and butterflies are from Paper Blossoms (made by our very own DT member Leah) It is bound with the Bind-it-All system. I'll have more photos of each individual page posted on my {other}blog.

Happy Sleeper Layout

Happy Friday everyone!! Samantha here, bringing you another puppy layout :O)

I created this layout for Your Memories Here using some great little Prima flowers.

My layout today was made mostly with the help of my Cricut Expression. I used the new Mother's Day cartridge for the orange flowers and journaling shape. Then I used the Accent Essentials cartridge to cut out all the circle shapes. DON'T FORGET, YMH has the mini cartridges on sale through Feb 2nd!!!

One of the cool features on the Cricut Expression and Cricut Create is the Center Point feature. With this feature, I cut my photo into a circle!!

To use the Center Point feature:
Load your mat with paper/photo
Press Center Point so it is lit up
Press the buttons to get the shape you want and adjust the size as needed
Move your blade to the center of where you want to cut (for my photo, I lined up the blade right at Emma's cute little nose!)
Press Cut

Wherever you had the blade set before you hit Cut will now be the center of your die cut shape!!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Crafting,

I used the Piece of Cake Snag'em stamp set for the happy birthday. I used the Prima Sweet and Sassy flowers. The clueless ones in the middle of the happy birthday stamp. In the middle of the flowers I used the primary dew drops. To finish off the card I inked the edges black and added pink ribbon to the side of the card.

Christmas Cutie

Leah here, happy Monday to you! I just had to scrap this picture of my DD before I am totally not in the mood to do anything Christmas like:) Plus, she's pretty cute, so it wasn't hard. I used my new Mother's Day cart for the pretty flourish and my new A YearChild's cart for the photo mat, font and leaves. I must say, I wasn't sure if I'd like ACY but I DO!! If you haven't gotten it yet I really would recommend it. For my flowers I used Prima Sweet 'n Sassy Clueless and Primas from the Bitty Bag. The soft border around the outside was stamped using the pretty little Prima lace stamp set. All these fabulous supplies can be purchased for a very reasonable price at Your Memories Here. Stop by my blog to see more:) Paper Blossoms.

Just Us

Happy Saturday morning all! Hope you're getting ready to link up your scrapbook page for the January-Share Your Memories contest. Today is the last day to enter :)

Here's a page I made using this week's Sketchy Thursdays sketch:

The layout is of me and my hubby (Kevin). It's been a looooong time since I scrapped a page about just us. Like 5 years long! I'm always making pages about the kids or our family so I though one of just us was over due.

Here's a little background info about me and my husband: We're Parrot Heads (for those of you who don't know what that means, we LOVE Jimmy Buffett) We got married on the beach in Florida and had our wedding reception at Margaritaville, we've got all of Jimmy's CDs (and a couple of albums) We've been to several concerts, in fact Kevin has been to over 20!
So this layout is the two of us at the Buffett concert last June. As you can see by the photo we were having a really good time :)

I used a Chatterbox wood frame to "capture" my ticket stub (I just love using memorabilia on my pages when I can) the frame is decorated with a couple of Prima Flowers and dew drops for the flower's centers. There are a couple more Prima flowers on the page and some golden berry dew drops here and there in the corners for accents. I used my Cricut machine and SCAL software to cut out the background shape and title.
I never thought of myself as a "sketch user" I always wanted my pages to be my original ideas. Then I realized that sketches are a really just a tool to help get you started. You don't have to follow them exactly and a little inspiration here and there never hurt :)
I hope you'll feel inspired today to do a little crafting.

Puppy in a Basket LO

Happy Friday Y'all! Samantha here!! Don't forget about our awesome contest going on!!

Today, I finally get to share a layout with you that I am so excited about. I have been dieing to share it with you since I made it!

I created this layout for Your Memories Here using some great little Prima flowers. Your Memories here has tons of awesome Primas in the store and they are so great to use. This layout was inspired by a layout in the January Creating Keepsakes Magazine. I really like the way this came out and it has photos of my sweet little baby, Emma, when she was tiny. You can click on any of the photos for a larger version.

  • Primas are a combo of Prima Sweet & Sassy Clueless flowers and Sprites flowers.

10 Reasons Why I Love Johnny

Hi Everyone!
Today I have a fun layout to share with ya! YMH is sponsoring this month's sketch at Sketchy Thursdays Blog. Kristina is offering some goodies for the sketch challenge winner. I loved the sketch! I didn't go vintage but was inspired to create this layout:

The Deets:
I punched a border around the base paper (black) & adhered the patterned paper on top. I cut the label and the number 10 with Ashlyn's Alphabet Cart on my Cricut. The heart, lips, "love" title, and the heart border underneath it with the Love Struck Cart.

Stop by the Sketchy Thursday blog for all the deets on the sketch challenge. Don't forget about the winter layout challenge right here on YMH & the 20% off all your purchases.

I used black pearls by Prima on the bottom flower and the center of the flower. I used my 12x12 mat in my Expressions to cut the card and flowers.
