Sorry everyone! I have been sick all week & I typed out my post & saved it but didn't publish it!
I have a quick Valentine's day tag to share with you guys. I used the Glitz Design 6x6 pads (Hello Friend & Yours Truly). The Prima flowers & trinket are from the Prima grab bag. These flowers are called avon rose pixie glen & here
are some similar ones. The vintage trinkets are a package of birds
& birdcages that are really cute & you can see some similar here.
I used Tim Holtz barn door (red) distress ink to stamp the sentiment & I also used antique linen distress ink around the bird & around the edges of the tag.
Sorry this is so brief. Hope you are all staying well!

Spring House - Zephyr
Hi everyone, Nancy here today! The weather here in Northern California has been slowly transitioning to spring. The flowers are starting to bloom and the hills around me have turned a lovely shade of green. I have been decluttering and destashing and just trying to lighten everything up after our winter. Time to change out my dining room centerpiece. This year I think I may just make some fun paper houses to decorate.
For this house I used papers from the gorgeous Zephyr Collection by Prima Marketing.
Mixed with a few items from my Prima Grab Bag I was quickly able to create this spring time house using my Cricut and the Winter Woodland cartridge (yes, it was originally a Christmas house)
I love the bright, spring time colors in the Zephyr collection and think they will brighten my dining room this spring.
Be sure and swing by the Your Memories Here store for all your Prima needs, including the 2013 releases that are on pre-order now.
Hugs.

Trust your Heart
Hi there friends! Emily here today with a shipping tag I altered using some great goodies I received in one of the Prima Grab bags found in the YMH store!
As you can see, I love my neutrals still. I try to make colorful pieces when I can, but my go-to colors are always in the neutral colors such as browns, creams and golds. :)
I used the Shabby Chic Treasures resin wings and heart from the grab bag, as well as the flower. Distress Stain in Vintage Photo was used on the tag after I sprayed it down with some Glimmer Mist and crumpled it up. The crystals and pearl trim was also a Grab Bag snag! I should also add that I stamped lightly over the background before adding my larger pieces using Helmar 450 Quick Dry.
If there are any of the products I have listed that are no longer in stock in the YMH store, please use the CONTACT section to email Kristina and she may just be able to special order the product for you! I think this is such a fantastic show of customer service!!!
I added some paint and mist to both the heart and wings and the flower at the bottom of my tag. A lot of times, I don't even use the flowers the way that they come. I can't seem to NOT alter them in some way! But that is the fun of art, isn't it?! :)
Thank you for stopping in today! I'll see you next week! Have a fantastic day!!!

Pocket Journal with DeNetra
Hey everyone ! I hope you all are having a great day.
I have made a simple and easy pocket journal using Prima's Zephyr paper and stamps.
I think it measures a little over 4 1/2 inches. Super adorable.
I hand cut all the elements and distressed it all.
I also used up lots of my scraps...have to make room for the new CHA stuff...right ?
Thank you for spending a few moments with me today.

December 2012 mini album.
Since January is almost over (can you believe it?!), it's time I finish up my December album & share it. I don't do a December daily & this is probably the closest thing to one that I'll ever get. The only reason I decided to do a mini album this year is that I just got my new iphone5 & I had taken a ton of photos!
I used mostly the same things throughout the album & kept it rather simple so I could finish it quickly. It's a 6x6 album with 7 pages - 14 layouts. Here are a few of them:
The Glitz Design 6x6 paper packs were perfect for this album & I used them up. I also used flowers & ribbon from my Prima grab bag (which are sold out now but you can find similar items in the store OR check out the new CHA arrivals coming!).
For more details about items I used or what my pages are about, stop by my blog today.

a LOVEly canvas... using Prima North Country
Good evening! Emily here, with my weekly project. I'm sorry for the lateness... it has been a crazy four day weekend for me, which started on Saturday and only ended mid afternoon today. Long story short, I spent the weekend moving and hauling large items and equipment off of a farm. It was cold out and I am very sore from the whole ordeal. Due to being so busy, I was not able to finish my project for the week until today after I unloaded my car and went through some things. But I finally have it to show you! Luckily I had already finished the background of the piece and only had to add the rest of the elements today.
I used some of my favorite items from the Your Memories Here store to make this canvas today. For the background I Mod Podged various papers from the North Country kit paper pad that is still available in the store. I chose more blues and creams. If any of the papers had holiday animals or print I tore that portion of the papers off. Even though North Country is mainly Christmas themed, there are still many papers in the pad that can be used for other creations, non holiday related!
After the papers were applied, I used various translucent acrylics, standard acrylic paints and Creative Inspirations paints over the papers. After the paints had dried, I added some old sewing patterns for more texture. Once again, I went over those with more paints. Light modeling paste and a stencil were used to make the little white hearts in several spots on the canvas. I traced these with a pen and added some more paints to them as well. My flowers are from the now sold out Out of the Blue kit that was in the YMH store. I created a large heart out of chipboard, covered it with modeling paste, Utee, and glitter. Once it dried, more acrylic paint was added in various spots and a black ink pad was brushed over it for a more distressed look. I added resin wings by Prima from one of the 2012 Summer Grab Bags. (there are still some available in the store!)
When I add larger three dimensional elements to canvas I generally use a product such as Helmar 450 Quick Dry, which is excellent at holding these elements on a canvas. If you don't feel it works well enough, you can always use a glue gun, but Helmar's glue drys quick and clear, without the strings you get with a hot glue gun!.
Below are some more close ups and side views of the canvas.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed my canvas today! I'll see you next week!

My dog Bentley does this adorable thing where he lays on his back and holds his chewie bones in his paws like an otter. Here's a couple close ups:

A Regal Birthday
Greetings my friends and fellow crafters! We start another weekend and for me, it's a nice, long one Yippee! I hope your able to enjoy it as well!
I wanted to share with you today a Birthday card I made for our Administrator. She is the kindest, most caring, professional person I have had the privilege of working with. So, to show her how special she is, what more could a girl ask for but, some exquisite Prima grab bag goodies! They are available of course at the fabby store Your Memories Here. In addition to what is already in stock, Kristina has some brand new GORGEOUS Prima on the way!! The new collections are just breathtaking!
I decided for this, I would use up some Prima packaging backs that I've been stashing. In addition, I also used a journal card from the Romance Novel Collection as well as the roses, wood pieces and fabric flower. The bling is also from the collection and the Taupe lace is available for purchase separately but, is also Prima.
I distressed the top and bottom of the cream colored packaging with TH distress stains as well as the journal card. I'm really pleased with the results and I know you will be too when you create using all the fabulous supplies available at Your Memories Here! Thank you for visiting with me today!!

Graduate - Prima Almanac + Romance Novel
Hi YMH fans! Dana here today sharing a layout I created using some of my favorite Prima supplies, mainly the Almanac and Romance Novel collections. I used a favorite layout, one that I also created for Your Memories Here, as a guide for this page. I was struggling to find my mojo this week, so I lifted one of my own designs. This layout below may look familiar to some of you.
It's fun to see this design in a different theme and color palette!
I used a journaling card and an image cut from a piece of patterned paper from the Almanac collection for a second focal point. This message really helps sum up the feelings portrayed in the photo. I wrote some additional journaling on a notecard and tucked it behind the photo.
I had a lot of fun embellishing this page. So many of the Prima embellishments work well for a school themed layout. I added the string of typewriters, a light bulb, a key, an alpha charm and several wooden stars.
I love the patterns printed on the wood buttons, but the color scheme doesn't always fit, so I flipped them over to show the natural coloring, which was a much better match to this page.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you're excited about Prima's new releases like me, stop by the Your Memories Here Store and put in your pre-order for one of the new Prima collections, scheduled to ship at the end of the month.

favorite snapshots.
I got a great piece of specialty paper in my Prima grab bag. It really is so pretty & I wanted to keep the page simple so that you could really see the paper. Unfortunately the grab bags are sold out BUT there will be new CHA products arriving soon!
Here is a link to the winter 2012 CHA Prima grab bags which ARE still available.
I also got these large flowers in my grab bag, which happened to work perfectly with this particular photo. The photo was quite crowded, with many different colors, & using the flowers around the bottom of the photo helped to hide some of that. These Prima flowers are available in the store & are very similar to what I used.
I attached them with the Helmart 450 quick dry adhesive.
